# Positions

> View and manage your open Polymarket positions. Overdog automatically redeems winning positions when a market resolves.

Send `/positions` to see all your open positions. Positions are sourced directly from the Polymarket blockchain — what you see here is the on-chain truth.

## What each position card shows

| Field | Description |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Outcome** | The outcome name you hold (e.g. "Yes", "Lakers to win") |
| **Market** | The market this position belongs to |
| **Shares** | Number of shares you hold |
| **Entry price** | Your average purchase price per share |
| **Current price** | The latest market price for this outcome |
| **Unrealized P\&L** | Your gain or loss at current prices |

## Navigating positions

Positions are displayed **5 per page**. Use the pagination buttons to move between pages if you have more than five open positions.

## Actions from a position

Tap any position to open its detail view. From there you can:

* **Buy more** — add to your position at the current market price
* **Sell partial** — sell a portion of your shares (preset percentages or a custom amount)
* **Sell all** — close the entire position immediately
* **Set take-profit** — automatically sell when the price rises to your target
* **Set stop-loss** — automatically sell if the price falls to your trigger level

See [Limit Orders](/trading/orders) for details on take-profit and stop-loss.

## Auto-claim

When a market resolves, Overdog automatically detects that your position is redeemable and claims your winnings on-chain. You do not need to take any action — the funds appear in your wallet balance within minutes of the market settling.

<Note>
Auto-claim runs in the background every few minutes. If you don't see your balance update immediately after a market resolves, wait a moment and check `/wallet`.
